Week two of "WALK-ABOUT GAGE COUNTY" was a continued success. There was a great turn out even though the weather forecast was for rain all day. The weather ended up cooperating and gave us another super day for getting together with friends and family for a healthy walk. There were approximately 100 walkers who participated in Saturday's walk from Riverside Park-to-Nichols Park. We are really pleased and encouraged by the first two weeks. We hope that everyone is maintaining their log and keeping track of all their walking miles. You can use your pedometer or you can estimate your mileage. Tracking your progress will help encourage you to do more. |
