Our "MISSION" is to promote coordination and resource sharing in health promotion and education; and ultimately to enhance the health and health awareness of Gage County.
Beatrice Community Hospital/Gage County (NE) PATCH coalition was initiated in 1986. In coordination with national health objectives, Beatrice Community Hospital/PATCH targets four objectives as guidelines in planning for the year 2010: 1. Improve nutrition (focus on obesity) through school and worksite education 2. Reduce unintentional injuries through safety awareness-car seats, seatbelts, smoke alarms, personal care 3. Improve physical activity and fitness by increasing opportunity for activity 4. Improve mental health awareness through informational campaign |
